I actually would like to raise it up on the flop. Think third level.

yeah i think we need to raise here. utg is the only one who has shown strength pf and he called the flop. i would raise just to see what happens here and then i would plan see what happens on the turn

Versus true unknowns this is an easy easy fold...especially w/o the K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

V4P, I don't mind folding at all, but if u gonna play it, a raise is helluva better than calldown.
Fold >> Raise >>>>>>>>>>>&gt ; Calldown
Plus, its sexy

Given the PF action:

1)What do you think SB is donking into two aggressors with?

2)What do you think the original raiser is just calling with?

raising is just random aggression ... the only thing that happens is you put too many bets in with the worst hand and fold anything you beat ... and by raising, if you are 3bet you'll be forced to call as you've artificially create a monster pot

with the extra guy just calling in between I think calling and folding are about equal

this SB clown can be donking a number of non ace hands (the guy is clearly lame) ... and if this guy is lame I would think UTG would raise anything you beat, other than aces.

now - SB's donk could be pretty hot if he thinks you guys are aggro and is currently holding 33

Re: Can I be good here?

1) SB can be donking with anything. A pair of threes, a flush draw, a pair in the hole, an ace in the hole. He's obviously a little messed up in the head since he cold-called 2.5 preflop and now leading into 2 aggressors with a pair of aces on the board. His line is total WTF, if you ask me.

2) I am more worried about the original raiser, but you can't just narrow down his holdings to an ace in the hole just yet, can you? K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], how bout that?

Now, as I said, I don't mind folding and I think it's the better option. But if I feel hot and wanna play it, I am raising versus calling.

Why I like a raise here versus calldown? It's cheaper, first of all.
If you call down, you'd expect to pay 2.5 BBs.
if you raise and it's reraised or capped back to you, you get out having invested 1 BB. Don't give me that "the pot is big and now you have to call". You don't have to call, your KK is toast.

So, what happens if I raise and they just call?

I have neatly represented a very good Ace. I did trey preflop, didn't I? The nice thing is that we got position. Anyone with a weak ace would have a super had time donking into me. Flush draws are certainly not donking. Depending on the turn card, I may choose to bet/fold (with free showdown in mind) of may choose to check and evaluate the river action.

Max investment = 2BB. Confused villains = priceless.
