A Hand In Which I Float

CP 6-12, of course

Don't know much about villain. He's old and white, fwiw.

Hero is SB w/ 33

All fold to Button who chopblocks, Hero calls, BB checks

Flop: 9 7 2 rainbow

All check

Turn: 2 (completes rainbow)

Hero checks, BB checks, Villain bets, Hero calls, BB folds

River: J

Hero checks, Villain pauses before betting, Hero calls

FYI, this was my plan when I checked the turn.

I really don't see the float as you have the best hand like 293842948238472984298489273498790187^2% of the time here on the turn.

I'd raise preflop and even as played I still bet the flop.
Turn/river is fine as played.

I would have bet the turn.

what's the blind structure? 1/3?
Is it a time charge or a drop?
If this is 1/3 with a drop you srsly need to not be in this hand preflop

yup, but CCing or CRing is a strong option if we think villain will fire on the turn. Inducing villains to fold correctly isn't ever my top priority, but neither is giving freecards and missing value.
