Vegas NL poker rooms

I'm going to vegas for a weekend and am looking for recommendations for good NL poker rooms. I looked at the stickies and didn't find anything for NL cash games.

I'm bringing 2K to Vegas for poker for next weekend and looking to play NL 1/2 and NL 2/5. Which casinos should i check out? Thanks!

In the past I've only played $1/2 in Vegas. Next time I'll be playing $2/5 since I've played that in live games in the meantime. I'll probably play at the Bellagio, my reasoning being that almost all poker rooms have $1/2 and obviously it is the lowest limit, except at the Bellagio $2/5 is the lowest limit, and usually the lowest limit in any poker room is the fishiest. I'd expect the 2/5 game there to play about like the 1/2 at MGM, Caesars or Venetian.

I played 1/3 NL at Ceasar's last month and it was a fairly easy game, the 2/5 NL at Bellagio can be a bit sick at times, our table had a ridiculous amount of money on it for a 2/5. Best of luck!!!

Depnds on where and what stakes you currently play live.

If you play 1/2 at your local casino I would avoid the 2/5 at the Bellagio and the 1/2 at the Venetian because you might find better than average players.

Try easier rooms: Excalibur, Paris, etc.

This was my take on the Bellagio's 2/5 game as well. The softest, weakest 2/5 I found in Vegas was definitely Red Rock. I loved 1/3 at both Wynn and Ceasar's, as it played almost like 2/5. 1/2 at Venetian is really soft, especially if you play while Tao is kicking--drunk fish with money love to wander into the poker room and donate a few buy-ins. Venetian is the easiest money if you don't have transportation to Red Rock.

Red rock is not soft at all. I live across the street from it and play there and other vegas rooms all the time. It is filled with locals who know what they are doing. You just happened to hit a fish pond when you were there.

Red rock is the LAST place i would recommend to play at, Venetian would be the first. Also Mirage game is really soft but i hate the atmosphere.

I've found the limit games at the MGM to be like printing money, especially on the weekends, but good luck finding higher then 4/8. I have played in their No limit games a few times, but found them to be very tight. The 4/8 and 3/6 limit games probably have higher average pots then their 1/2 NL games, from my experience.

There is no NL small stakes game in Vegas that is reliably bad.

You may, from time to time, find a bad game. It is an aberration, easily resolved by changing tables or wandering to the next room up or down the strip.
