Who is the fastest player in the nfl?
 

Was watching replays of games this week and my curiosity was sparked by watching kevin curtis catch a slant and then fly another 20 yards before the 2 safeties just barely cut him off from going all the way. I've also read that de angelo hall once ran a 4.18 40, although i'm sure he cant do that anymore.

devin hester is most certainly not the fastest person in the nfl, he has breakaway speed obv, but im sure there are people that can catch him

Without a doubt it's Deion Sanders. Disclaimer: I haven't watched NFL football since 1994, but I assume not much has changed.

DeAngelo Hall has the fastest straight line speed imo. Hester is probably the most agile though.

Straight line speed is overrated anyway. Hester is ridiculous because of his vision and how elusive he is.
