Re: when to let up with a set?

I think the turn 3-bet is fine since UTG is unlikely to have KK or QQ based on his pf limp and call of the pf 3-bet.

I like the b/c on the river, because BB hand looks like AA or AK that is just along for the ride, and you don't want UTG to check behind a lone K or Q that gets scared when the flush comes on the river.

maybe some people will think it is spew, but it looks fine to me.

I don't raise pf.

Action looks just about right for my taste.

I complete preflop 100/100 times unless BB is really tight and UTG is really bad (and I'd probably still complete!).

I just c/c the river. I don't think you beat BB and the flushdraw just came in.

12 combos K5/Q5/KQ, 12 combos KK/QQ, and pretty much every other hand that jams got there on the river. I c/c river, BB is gonna overcall anyway.

Since when do random villains that limp UTG jam single K/Q hands post vs two PFRs like this?

i wouldn't raise preflop. if i had, i wouldn't bet the flop. if i ha, i wouldn't cap the flop.

Re: when to let up with a set?

Some morons play KK/QQ like that preflop, either because they want to make sure no overcard comes, or they think they're slowplaying/being tricky. But KQ looks likely, too.

BB obviously is being very stubborn with AA/AK.

I think with the extra dead money BB is throwing in the pot, that makes reraising very tempting.

Re: when to let up with a set?

Aaah, I misread the action. For some reason I thought it was BB who jammed turn.

UTG has either limped a big pp or he's on crack, possibly with a FD. Either way I c/c and expect to lose.

btw I get a note on both players here.

I raised preflop to get the tag bb out. It didn't work out but I usually try and isolate a limper with a small pp in the blinds.

I usually don't do that because 1) your are out of position, 2) bb is getting 5:1 on his money, and 3) c-betting small pairs into 2 opponents sucks on alot of flops. try calling and c/r alot of flops.
