recreational instead of professional?
I've crunched the numbers and it is cheaper for me to file as a recreational instead of a professional.
Since I see so much about pro players being audited, this seems advantageous anyway. But... I will have near -0- in any other kinds of income. Does the IRS ever do the reverse and consider a player a professional making them pay that 15.2% extra in self employment? |
