nobody knows for sure right now, as neteller has not made any statement. there are RUMORS that they will not follow the lead of Firepay, but that is undocumented as of now.

maybe not the answer you are looking for, but sit tight, keep up with the forums here, and you will know as soon as the rest of us.

WTF? EVERYBODY PANIC.

Hey genius, there aren't undocumented rumors that they won't follow FirePay's lead. They've CONFIRMED that they won't follow that path. Now quit running around screaming fire in a crowded theater. Idiot.

"Neteller has not made any statement"

Their Merchant Group said they are going to continue business as usual for the US, pending the promulgation of regulations, and then re-assess.

If you're worried about your roll there then just wire somw of it back to your checking. That's what I did.

Free, your post was entirely unfair. He qualified his remarks, and no one knows for certain what neteller will do.

He's asking about the actions of U.S. banks, not Neteller.

Nobody has confirmed that banks will not accept withdrawls from Neteller, just deposits TO Neteller right? I thought the bill was meant to restrict deposits, not withdrawls.

I would think there's almost no chance that banks will stop accepting Neteller EFT's before the regulations are drawn up (up to 270 days from when the bill is signed), and maybe never.
