Flop nuts..Donkey C/R\'s

nope. is that the only time this works?

i guess if he has a legit hand, he will prob commit himself on the turn. i guess i just felt like trying something different.

i think it works more often on drawy boards vs bad players like this. i dont really mind it here honestly because you have either the nuts or Air and i think even this villain will understand that somewhat.

The only hand that concerns you is 76. I'd just call his craise after pausing for 10 seconds and let him hang himself on the turn.

given reads, I'd usually just smooth call and let him hang himself. Your line isn't bad if you've seen him shoving over minraises before.

I'd let the timer run down and then call his flop c/r and let him hang himself on the turn and shove over the top of whatever bet he puts out (assuming he doesn't open shove). This should work to perfection especially if he's been being ultra-aggressive.

The only drawback to this is that you let KJ/J9 draw but I think that is a minor concern in this instance.

Man, two people beat me to that exact post. Should've posted a bit quicker I guess.

the more i look the more i like this line vs a semi-competent player. this really looks like a whiffed AK or something that is tired of losing c-bets, and i think you get some pushes from some very WTF hands here, since the only hands you're "repping" usually call this flop raise 100% of the time.

[/ QUOTE ]Maybe I cannot read the board but how is KJ/J9 a big concern?

[/ QUOTE ]I agree. But OP said "Villain was just plain ol' terrible".
