This is fine, sometimes I'll raise preflop because they fold a lot of the time, and when they don't, we have the initiative to take down a small pot.

Nah, bet bet bet. Hope one of them has a 7 or a small pocket pair like 55 or 66 they don't want to fold.

I hate raising pre with small pairs from the blinds against stations who might call with K4o. Those player will give me no money if they miss and might take down my cbet or even 2nd barrel if the flop is drawy.

So why do YOU raise PF?

Because anyone that limps the button generally has like J2s or something that they wanna play but is not very good, and they'll fold it a lot of the time preflop, and also fold if they don't hit the flop. Why NOT raise?

Also, the fact that sometimes you'll flop a set and the pot will be 4x bigger on the flop to get money in easier.
