What is the whole * thing about?
 

Can anybody tell what this is for, it seems i have just been given one. Not that i'm particularly bothered what kinda rating or whatever i have, i'm just curious. Also why are certain posters name's in black, and how does the whole sub-title thing work with carpel/tunnel, poog-bah etc?

Sorry if these are very noobb questions for a guy with 1k posts, i've just never know this stuff! cheers

Nevermind, i have done my own research and found this answer (for the star thing). Although, i have to say it seems a little harsh, all i did was make a post about comparing the iPhone and the latest Nokia phone in OOT... [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

if you dont keep up with OOT, it's best to not start threads there.

i.e., there's a huge thread about iphone in OOT, and if you ever visit OOT you'd know this.

most people who get *'d in OOT dont read the sticky, or they dont research older threads at all, and in a lot of cases, they dont even bother to look at what's on the first or second page of OOT.
