can anyone tell me why some weeks the prize pool is like $1k and the next week it might be $4k?

Does it have anything to do with TLB points accumulated?

they start with 1k, if the player wins, they get the 1k...if the pro wins 1k more is added to the pool next week. repeat until player wins, and it begins at 1k again

ah, thanks for the quick answer. I guess the pro's don't win often then as they aren't really playing for any money and it just rolls over.

they get to keep the prize as I understand, stars just ensures that they pay out 52k per year to tlb winners.
