400nl big fold vs. tufts

villain is a 2p2er and regular tag...never seen him do this before.

all i can really think of is he check/called 2 streets with a flush draw? or he has a weak jack? not sure why he wouldn't c/r a boat on the turn. nice play i guess if it confuses the hell out of me.

oh yeah, how about shoving? all i can really see here is him block/folding with a jack or flush, but maybe he'd just decide to call anyways.

I think this is a weak jack pretty often. Some other hand that I'm thinking of is something like T9d or 89d. But a raise would be pretty sick. I probably play it the safe way and fold.

dont bluff 2p2ers, they will call any jack here because they look weak and then pat themselves on the back for their brilliant Nth level thinking.

How light do you think he is peeling against you? Could be AT.

Could be a combo that hit jackpot (str8flush?)or even TT that hits its two outer on river or JT.

About weak Jack i dont know if the riverbet is logical, cuz what hand that is worse than JJJ would call the river on that board?

At least, him being TAG and u betting pre+2 streets, I think we should be quite clear on the fact that he is not bluffing this river and hence there is no hand that KK beats that he bets the river with.

Edit: Btw to all guys on 2+2: I am Sean from Sweden, my first post, been playing for 2 years, play NL1000 mainly. Dont consider myself big on poker theory but eager to learn and discuss.

Not really a big fold but a good fold nonetheless. Very few opponents are capable of taking this line with worse (and the ones that are are either really good or really bad). I would never call this against anybody who I believe to be inbetween those two.

based on how the hand went it seems to be a Jx.....seems more a defensive bet hoping not to get raised. Either way your beat and you have to fold.

wow i looked back at this hand after tufts posted and i felt sad about my hand reading skills. i really dont think he ever has you beat on this river after check calling two streets given that i think he plays anything that beats you or any flush draw a lot differently on the flop and turn.
