I have a very hard time folding to minraises
 

I know that it's very situational, but whenever I am minraised from a villain, I find it much harder for me to fold unless I'm holding complete air. Let's say I hit mid-pair or top pair [censored] kicker on the flop and I C-bet it out, and villain minraises me. Am I always going to fold this?
I find it weak if I'm going to fold to a minraise every time if I'm unsure if I have the best hand.

Also, when it's a short stack doing it I find it even harder since most of the time I have the notion that shortstacks are complete donks (unless they have VERY VERY tight stats).

So what the [censored] is the deal with minraises?

I have a similar problem but today I got taught a lesson a few times actually. I would flop tpgk, c-bet and get min raised and obviously call (first mistake). Then I would continue on the turn and call a big turn bet (second mistake). I think in general I have to learn to start folding my one pair hands to unknowns on dry boards for a min c/r.

I definitely agree with you that if I face big resistance on the turn, it's probably best to let the hand go.

HOWEVER, I think it's inevitable to be facing a bigger turn bet if you plan on calling the min raise and checking the turn. I can't really see a blocking bet being a good idea on the turn since I think it'll get raised most of the time.

The way I see it is that minraising doesn't scream "STRENGTH STRENGTH STRENGTH" but at the same time it's not a big enough bet for someone to bluff with.

No, Im not talking about the turn, the main point here is the flop. I know how to play turns against raises, but I just dont give people credit on flops for some reason. I have to give more credit to min c/r but Im not sure about min raises. Like if I am MP and bet, and get min raised by the CO. I think thats a different situation just because a c/r in general is so much stronger than a plain raise, but Im still a little lost honestly.

the problem is that in my experience a minraise can either mean monster or air.

i fold to the minraises with weaker hands until i know what hes doing it with

In general against an unknown, what does everyone do against a min raise with tpgk. I think I have finally realized that if I get min c/r I can fold, but still unsure about min raised.
