call.. With 3 players behind lets see what happens. if its HU on the turn and he leads a non spade I would probably raise.

Specifically here with SB leading into us with a probable 8, very weak Ace or flush draw I feel I can raise pot- This makes it very hard for MP,CO, or button to call with their A9,AT facing a raise and reraise and they have AJ+ almost never.

I think this hand is much harder to play if SB checks into us, but even there I prefer leading and letting them decide if A9 or A5 is good, because sometimes they'll make the wrong decision, and sometimes I'll have A8, A3 or a set, and I want action there. Check-calling just gets you in trouble.

I like a raise here also. MP, CO, and BTN will fold better hands, and SB could very likely have a worse A or crap. Obv. fold if he raises you. If we just call here, and SB leads out again, are we c/c the whole way? Or are we planning on raising/folding at some point

If we raise, what are we doing on a blank turn if he calls?

My thoughts exactly. I like calling > raising because most players at this level will auto call a RR if they lead a flop with this many people. Also, if we RR we still have several players behind. I like calling and seeing a cheap turn.

TPNK is not very good in a 4-way pot. Also, two of the other players haven't even played yet. So, if you raise, you are risking 7BB or more to win 7BB with a marginal holding in a multi-way pot. I think that's a bad idea.

Having said that, you may be ahead, but I wouldn't risk alot to figure it out. Just call and see where the hand leads to. If you are behind, a call is pretty cheap compared to a raise.

lol raising is terrible imo, calling is pretty standard. This is the time where you may have to lay down the best hand because your out of position completely in this hand between the sb and the rest of the field. A lot of the time you will call as will another, the turn brings a third spade or some other card and someone will bet and you'll have to fold. I'd call most of the time(esp if likely to see cheap showdown), muck occasionallf if agg field. I don't see how you can raise in this situation. If he bets pot or 4/5 of pot i fold with the rest of the people left to act
