Easiest way to get a Borgata black card?

So I see the ads at Borgata that you can get a black card by showing them a higher-level card from another casino. Are there any casinos where it is especially easy to get an upgraded card, which I could then use to get a Borgata black card?

I know I can get a black card if I get 1000 comp dollars, but that's never going to happen since I am only in AC a couple weeks a year, and spend half my time at Borgata playing tournaments anyway.

If you only play in AC a few weeks per year, why do you need a black card at Borgata?

I doubt you could attain a higher card anywhere else only playing poker for a few weeks per year.

So I can get poker rate rooms, free parking, etc.

I figured there might be some casino where it is easy to get a higher card. Just wondering if anyone had heard of any promotions, etc, or had inside info where this was possible. It doesn't have to be from poker play only if the amount of time/money you have to bet at other games is reasonable.

Harrahs Properties are the easiest way to move up the ladder from what I have experienced, but there is no way that you would be able to attain a higher level card only going a few weeks a year and only playing poker.

You need Diamond at Harrah's to get the Black Card at Borgata so that won't work since it requires the exact same amount of play. Black Card status doesn't affect poker rates so you'll just be getting free parking and access to Amphora and cheap buffet. I love Amphora and the buffet but I don't see it being worth it if you aren't a regular.

Lurk around the slots and whenever you see a zombie playing without their card in, ask them if you can put yours in, or just do it without asking. It will be really awkward and weird, but isn't that where we get the stories from?

The free parking is worth it.

Whats the timeframe for logging the 1000 comp dollars. Is it 6 months, year, or longer?

You have to get 1000 comp dollars in a year.

Someone posted recently that if you sit at 40-80 or higher and ask the floor they will get you a black card. I don't know if this even works but I think it is worth a shot.

I think you still need to put in a couple hundred hours at least but the floor definitely has discretion. After about 300 hours of any time game you should be able to get one by talking to a floor person you are friendly with. The time frame is one year, so thats like 10 hours a week to meet the letter of the requirements.
