fold to his re-raise PF. Check out the 5-10 rule regarding calling with PPs for set value.

Fold to the reraise PF

no way you had odds. especially with these stacks. maybe if everyone is $100 deep at these stakes but 7/8 you wont trip up and an over pair will win.

AA, KK, nine times out of ten. Fold to the reraise pf unless you've got a good read it's really not worth the trouble otherwise.

As is, the flop bet I'm not keen on as if you're pretty sure he's not betting light preflop to begin with it's more than likely he's going to come right over the top of it. So it's save some cash and check/fold from me.

Ok, it's late here in Sweden so bare with me if I do something wrong, but here we go. No, you don't have the odds to hit your set. Lets assume your behind and that you need to hit it.

The odds for that is: 1-8.5.

Lets also assume you stack villian everytime you hit, and that he never makes his redraw when you do either. The "pot" now is then his stack $25 + what you already have invested, $4 = $28. You have to call $7.5. That is:

$7.5-$28 => 1-3.7

Nowhere near the 1-8.5 you need. This assumes that you never put any more money in after your PF call even if the flop comes rags (assuming again that you are beat right now).

If you feel a set is your only out (which you obviously did since you folded on a good flop for your hand), then no way in hell did you have the odds to call.
