Some live hands

I spent much of this week in Puerto Rico - good times, mucho drinko. Lots of casinos but apparently only 1 poker table which I happened to stay across the street from. Dumped $150 @blackjack which reminded me why I got into poker in the first place & finally got a seat @3am my last night there.

It's a 5/10 weird quasi-spread game where pf & flop bets can be $5 or $10 which confused me at first plus I got rags for the first 30 min's so my image is consequently a clueless nit which I liked. All 4-7 handed. Pretty much everyone sucks, too much coldcalling, etc. There's this one college kid looking deuchebag who stares down like he's at the wsop & makes hollywood river folds when he obv. has Q high or something. I haven't seen him showdown anything stupid or be too aggressive postflop. All these hands are primarily against him.

1 limper to me otb & I raise A9o, villian in BB calls, limper calls.
A86 flop two spades
checked to me I bet, villian checkraises, fold, I call
Turn 4 rainbow
villian checks I bet, he checkraises again, I fold.

I open AQo otb, ok local who coldcalls too much calls, villian 3bets in BB, we call.
Flop K76r checked to me, I bet (meh, I'd always check this online but it felt right). they both call
Turn is an A
villian donks I call (who raises here?)

Down to 4handed now - I open TT otb, villian 3bets I cap
KJx flop
I bet he calls
turn brick he checks I decide to check & call or bet river.

Sorry if these are lame or "had to be there" type stuff but live hands are just more fun to post i guess. Won back all I lost @BJ plus some in an hour, yay.

As to the spread limit thing, I think you should pretty much always bet 10.

The first hand is something I have never seen live. It's probably a fold, but I might just call down because I want to know what he has bad.

Hand two, I cap pf and call the turn. I'd raise the river a good amount though.

Hand three comes down to whether you think he'll bluff you. Probably not so I'd bet.

Edit: I missed a hand

Lol @ the first hand. I think I fold as well. Online I would instafold against most. (Your image at the table was really good after that hand? )

2'nd hand I raise the turn donk. That is a worse A a lot.

3'rd hand I like a bet if there is a fd out there. From your description, I guess he calls with a gutshot as well. But it depends on how aggressive and spassy he is, would he semibluff or bluff a lot? If so I check.

I've never seen the "double C/R" live either. It wasn't like I thought "oh I'm going to B/F this" but when he raised I was shocked & wanted to LOL as well. Yeah I guess my image changed after that (obv. nobody thought I folded an A). I think the turn card helped him whatever it was (I just remember it was a brick & made up the 4; I just hope it wasn't a T and I was too drunk to count outs).

I agree on always betting the higher amount.

1 I like. I think this is donkster play alot more than a creative semibluff.

2 alot of live guys don't 3 bet many worse aces PF, but it's a weird way to play a hand beating yours, so I'm guessing he either has AQ or AJ. I would probably raise.

3 I'd just bet the turn, I don't expect to get knocked off the best hand on this board after you cap PF.

I guess in the TT hand I just wanted to get to SD after the A9 happened. Also I was "sure" he'd call a bet on the river if not bluff at it - was very surprised when he C/F'd (even most decent online players will call w/ A-high since my river bet after the turn check looks like a bluff).
Second hand he checked the river and made an agonizing call after an intimidating staredown before mucking (QQ- I suppose).
