A bubble hand

Unfortunately I have the lost hand history from this so just have to do it by memory.

Online re-buy tournament ($10)
We are down to 11 players and 10 get paid. I am only interested in first place.
1 player has just been knocked out of the tournament in the last hand which means I am now sb to the villians bb.

I have 103,000 and villian has 280,000 and is overall chip leader.
I am 2nd on chips at table and 3rd overall.

The blinds are 4000-8000 with ante of 1000 so have m of about 6

I am probably perceived as quite laggy, been pushing and raising a lot and have called re-raises with 52 (I was getting good odds)
The villian only arrived at table in last 15 minutes. he has been raising a bit and using his chip stack but I wouldn't say he has been bullying the table too much

So on to the hand.
I get AJo in sb, it's folded around to me and I call (comments)
Villian goes all-in.

This is first hand in which there has been 11 remaining.

So call or fold?

I open shove. As played I fold, but it's close. If you had AQ+, TT+ I would probably call.

AJ with this stack is practically the nuts against someone whose been throwing his weight around, a thinking player that knows its the bubble. you have been laggy, not trappy, what do you think he does with like KQ here? He probably says, oh this is prob the best hand, dont want to see a flop, all of it he folds a lot fo the time anyway.

I think villains range probably is A2+, KJ+, 22+. Looks like you're right.

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 56.0702 % 52.14% 03.93% { AJo }
Hand 2: 43.9298 % 40.00% 03.93% { 22+, A2s+, KJs+, A2o+, KJo+ }

Re: A bubble hand

My thoughts were as stated above, felt he could push with a lot so decided to call, he had 88 and it stood up.
Looking back if I am going to call, would have been much better open pushing but then again I expect he would have called anyway.
