Top pair decent kicker against 42/18/2
 

Villain was running 42/18/2 over about 70 hands, not too much of a read on him, he seemed active tho, i was clueless on the flop when he c/r'ed me, i'd appreciate help with 4th and 5th streets

I am so weak, so I check the river. He can easily have 2 pairs, KJ/AJ scared by the hearts...

Can he call you with J weaker kicker (J9/J8) ? Or 9T ???

my thinking was that i'd fold the flop to a bigger reraise, when he checked the turn i cant bet for value cuz he can be trapping with a flush and will throw weaker hands away

when he checks the river i am fairly sure he doesnt have the flush, i think he'd value bet for half pot or so with 2 pair since i showed so much weakness. The problem is AJ, KJ, i think he reraise AJ preflop alot with his stats.

a litle thin imo

flop is close but i think this is fine vs this guy. Against a decent player im mucking flop

So, if you have a read, and only feared KJ, you must bet half the pot to be call by weaker hands...

And fold to a raise, of course !

i agree 100% Unknown, i def like checking the turn, the flop i am mucking against a better player or a tighter player, the river was the real part i was so close on.
