This just underscores how tough it is for the mods in that forum. There is a huge "eff authority" thing in there that leads otherwise good posters to commit accounticide (yvesaint, Hutz). Crappy posters and newbies probably look up to these guys which makes things even worse.

I'd just delete them and let people know that bumping crap gets threads deleted. If there's some big reason not to delete a thread, lock it instead. But I think deleting and making this stuff disappear is the best way to counter it.
