JJ - Overpair + flushdraw on a montone flop vs decent player

the table had just broke down to 3 handed . a huge donk had jsut busted out and the other 2 regs had left.
villain is a little nitty/passive PF at 18/12, but hes played decent poker from what i can tell. he has picked up quite a few pots without showdown and has shown winners when any serious money went in so far. he hadnt done anythig stupid yet. thsi was second time i recall him ch/r a flop after the PFR has c-bet

villain views me as a regular 20/16 Tag

I think flop is fine.

Now fold turn given your read. What do you beat? TT? Muck 'em.

turn is a fold, flop is OK i think, but not sure given 3 handed play and this really changes the way some people play, tough spot

What do we do when the diamond hits, call down?

i actually dont think being 3 handed had any effect on his range here, as the game had literally just broken up like 2 hands before.

If he has the flush here, does he play so aggressively? I think maybe A9 or something involving the Ad? I min raise and consider calling if he pushes.

I'm much more worried about a set, two-pair, straight.

OP, I really don't see any other way to play it. You hate too many cards on the turn to just check behind on the flop. Then I think you have to call in position, and see what he does on the turn. When he bets you sigh and fold.

If we hit a diamond on the turn, I'd call a turn bet. I'd fold to a river shove. If he checks turn, VB. If he bets turn and checks river, value shove (on nonpaired board).

i dont like the flop call at all; there are basically no cards that can come, except a J, that we really wanna call a decent turn bet with. and i dont think we can expect villian to check the turn after we just call.
i dont might jamming flop

edit: typo
