There is poker. It is a locals' place. I think they spread a decent bit of nitty 2-4.

They spread $2-$4 with a single blind, $4-$8 with mini blinds and $3-$6 Omaha 8.

They are tied in with the Stations Bad Beat Jackpot.

The Oyster Bar is very good.

Rent a car and go elsewhere. 3 nights at Palace Station will have you banging your head against the wall. No where is walking distance.

The words Palace Station and "action" shall never be mentioned on this board again in the same post, unless you're talking about cheap asian hookers.

Major action always going on at Palace Station. You have to play the 1/2NL, it's like ROBBING a casino. The buffet there is the best, and the price is so low it should be a FELONY. You have to pay attention on the 5/10 limit tables, you do not want to be caught 'NAPPIN. Ipod's are discouraged becuase some nits mistake them for RECORDING devices. There is a very attractive waitress there during weekend evenings. Her name is NICOLE, and she has BROWN hair. Make sure to tip her well, as it will pay off in GOLD, MAN.

If your going on the weekend, watch out for the Simpson crew. They bring all their big GUNS to the table, and can put you on major life tilt. During your breaks, you might want to check out the celeberty memorabilia in the lobby.

Has anyone played poker at ROCKINGHAM Park?

PS has a free shuttle that stops at the MGM and Wynn, I guess I disagree with the crowd, I think it is a pretty solid place to stay for a poker player. Pool isn't bad and while not great, I have played in worse poker rooms.
