50nl Coping with JJ when 3bet preflop

Villain a newbie at the table so absolutely no idea how he plays.

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

BTN: $39.50
SB: $49.50
BB: $95.55
Hero (UTG): $62.90
MP: $42.55
CO: $60.50

Pre-Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $2, MP folds, CO raises to $5, 3 folds, Hero calls $3

Flop: ($10.75) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $6, Hero calls $6

Turn: ($22.75) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $11.50, Hero raises to $23, CO raises to $49.50 and is All-In, Hero calls $26.50

River: ($121.75) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

I really struggle with knowing how to play pp's from 1010-QQ.
Was this acceptable play?
Am I good here?

As played I think turn is a fold. Id prob c/r the flop to 15 and fold to a shove saves you a lot of money when you're beat

c/r flop with the intension of folding anywhere in the hand is bad.

What's your plan when calling his 3bet preflop?

If your calling for set value then c/f flop.

If you think your overpair is good then bet flop. Do not give freecards to random overcards, underpairs, flushdraws.

As played I c/f turn.

I don't understand how that could be bad? If villain pushes back we're beat - no? Please explain.

Because you're basically turning JJ into a bluff then.It doesn't matter whether you hold 72o or jacks if you fold to a push.

We're not calling pf for set value. When villain double barrels here his range gets tightened a lot

I actually fold pf here against an unknown. We are repping big strength by raising UTG and we just got 3 bet. Other than that, I think this was played fine.

I'm not going to fold pf when we are 120bb deep even when we are oop

Wouldn't this be more of a reason to call for set value instead of folding?
