Why do people get made fun of everytime they post about video game poker? Its not like 95% of the people that play Madden or Guitar Hero actually play football or the real guitar.

To each there own, if they want to play a video game like that then whatever.

I don't look for a simulation of what playing football would actually be like when playing Madden. When you play a poker video game, you're attempting to engage in a simulation of something that is easily accessible in online poker.

not if your underage? I'm not thought, but your telling me you could play every WSOP event on Pokerstars. I'd like to see that.

I don't look for a simulation of what playing football would actually be like when playing Madden. When you play a poker video game, you're attempting to engage in a simulation of something that is easily accessible in online poker.

Well that's all specifics. All I'm saying is if I didnt play poker for money I'm guessing a game like this would be more fun then playing for play money on pokerstars. At least something like this would have scenerios, challenges and the "pros" I'm guessing.

Doubt I'll be getting this, and if I did it'll only to be to get achievements on the 360. Xbox live arcade poker drove me up the wall - the computer was stupid and its decisions didn't make much sense. Plus one of the achievements was to see every single combination of cards there is, and seriously how long do you have to spend playing the game before it deals a royal flush?? I gave up in the end..

I have never played an even OK poker game. The 360 Live Arcade poker game is hilariously stupid on all levels (idiot opponents, slower than death gameplay, horrible music, terrible graphics where I can't tell wtf suit I have without gluing my eyeballs to the screen, etc). The other 360 poker games were all stupid and boring too.

I think the PS2 graphics and layout are god-awful. Last year's looked ten times better. However, at least this year, the Cpu will sometimes limp in when first to act instead of always raising (No-Limit Texas Hold'em). It's still fun to play but I have to sit too close to the tv to see what the bets are. Too hard to read. Need big 50 incher to see it better.
