25NL: Weird hand with JJ

UTG+1's line really confused me this hand.

Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 9 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

MP1: $19.70
Hero (MP2): $30
CO: $25.05
BTN: $16.40
SB: $17.90
BB: $6.25
UTG: $8.25
UTG+1: $58.75
UTG+2: $8

Pre-Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP2)
UTG calls $0.25, <font color="red">UTG+1 raises to $0.50</font>, UTG+2 calls $0.50, MP1 calls $0.50, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3</font>, 5 folds, UTG+1 calls $2.50, UTG+2 calls $2.50, MP1 folds

Flop: ($10.10) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
<font color="red">UTG+1 bets $5.50</font>, UTG+2 folds, Hero ???

I tend to fold here because they only other possibilty would be to put in a good sized raise. But with this UTG minraise, hands like 55 or 44 can def be in his range as well as a big ace played very weird.

Just make a note and fold.

If he donk bets like this a lot (indicating that he might be betting with less than top-pair), then you might want to raise at some point to see if he's doing this light.

But for this hand, fold is probably best.

I definitely fold here. I put him on either a flopped set and trying to build the pot, or an A making a probe bet because he's not sure his kicker is good. Either way, we are way behind.
