Do you always raise 57s from MP1? Why not lead flop? *is confused*

If you are going to raise this preflop make it larger you have a poster OOP. What are you repping by c/r flop? Why didn't you just put him AI on the turn?

Not very often but I have been more recently now and again. I'm playin at 14 11 3.5 for the past week and had some good success. Where over previous months I was a nitty 11 /5 /3.

[/ QUOTE ]You should try thinking about why you're doing something instead of just "being aggressive" and having pretty stats. This hand is pretty bad. I am in no way trying to be rude.

I'd suggest opening up your game from the later positions, rather than opening 57h from EP.

By c/r flop I was repping a big overpair for FE but also to get the turn and river free/cheap if villain is still in.

Good point re shove on turn.

Ok I wasn't looking for a pat on the back from anyone. I just wanted some constructive feedback as from the other posters. Yep, I realise the raise PF was far from perfect in terms of position and the hand itself. I'm just hear to learn.

This hand is butchered. Flop c/r is spew; you're folding out AK/AQ type hands and getting called/raised by just about everything else. You have little fold equity in this spot to justify a c/r. As played, shove turn.
