FT $6.50 Overbet Pot -- What does it mean?
 
Sorry about the converter, or lack of it. I've seen this a number of times and am still unsure what the overbet means?

means he has something good.

this could be anything from AA-TT, a flush draw, a combo draw, a straight, a set, two pair, a8.. really anything you could think of. these players are bad, theres no way to understand what they're doing

Unless he's an overly aggressive player, and overbet is very often a very strong hand. They don't know how to build pots but they know they want to win a big one.

So, I'd fold this.

Thanks for both replies. I thought that this is what it meant, but wasn't sure. It was early, later on he pushed pf for a ridiculous number of BBs a couple of times. I can only assume that meant a big pocket pair or similar.
