I have a theoretical question.

We are playing 6-max on Party and the game is NL200$.

Hero (UTG) stats 21/19 and Villain (UTG+1) is 27/22 and we have no history and no reads.

You are sitting UTG with A,Qo and you raise to 4*bb, UTG+1 3-bets to 12*bb, everybody else folds.

Hero should do what?

The reason I am asking is because the games are getting more aggr. So would a 4-bet be good or what is the best solution?

Fold. You're still UTG and he 3-bet you UTG+1. Your reverse implied odds suck. If this was CO vs BTN it would be a little closer, but this is a fold most of the time.

Yeah, even if he's 27/22 it doesn't mean he's loose UTG. His high VPIP comes from playing lots of hands in late position, assuming he's at least decent. So a fold is probably the best line unless he starts to go bananas raising your every open but that's a whole other thread.

So what are our holdings which we will 4-bet him with?
A,K and J,J+?

Do we ever call OOP?

You can almost call for set equity with pocket pairs because his raise is pretty small. I would 4-bet AK and KK-AA (call with them sometimes for deception).

Would you only call with J,J and Q,Q too? WHy not 4-bet Q,Q. Is it because then you can be pretty sure he almost knows what I have?

And after the call then push an okay flop?

Why do you think his raise is small? I thought that the standard 3-bet was 3*the original raise...
