Winstar Oklahoma question...

Havent been there in a while wondering if its worth a trip. How is the new poker room there and how profitable are the games on the weekends?? 2-5 nl games to be more specific. Thanks.

The new room is huge, compared to the old one. Still run about the same, but they are getting better. I have only played 1-2NL up there, but it is very profitable. Once all the kids come up, mixed with the people that have never been to a casino, it is profitable. On the weekends, they usually have about 6 or 8 1/2NL tables, and maybe 4 or 5 2/5NL tables. I would guess that the 2/5 should be pretty good as well. I will probably try the 2/5 game next time I am up there.

Not that I care, but they just started serving beer last week. It's not free, but anything to loosen up the competition sounds good to me.

first off the new poker room is very nice. second, the action is unbelieveable, many college kids from unt and that arts school in denton there who are quite bad (thats mostly at the 1-2).

the 2-5 game is a bit tighter but still very profitable. if you can afford the 5-10...do it. its like hsp cept looser lol.

The fact that they serve alchohol might have just sealed the deal for me.

Oklahoma beer, it sucks.

I'm a kid from UNT, I normally profit whenever I go
