Call this river with TPTK?

<font color="purple"> Villian in this hand seemed very donkish, I didn't have a ton of reads on him at the time except for this one hand that I saw him play earlier.

His stats were 35/3/.5 so he was a huge calling station preflop and pretty much the same applied post flop as well.

Here is the hand he played earlier (He is the CO w/ AK in this hand).

Full Tilt Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players

MP: $107.40
CO: $49.10
BTN: $104.25
Hero (SB): $118.30
BB: $79
UTG: $159.70

Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
2 folds, <font color="red">CO raises to $4</font>, BTN calls $4, 2 folds

Flop: ($9.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">CO bets $6.50</font>, BTN calls $6.50

Turn: ($22.50) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
CO checks, BTN checks

River: ($22.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">CO bets $21</font>, BTN calls $21

Results: $64.50 Pot ($3 Rake)
CO showed K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a pair of Aces) and LOST (-$31.50 NET)
BTN showed J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a flush, Jack high) and WON $61.50 (+$30 NET)

Now onto the hand in question, I was running about 22/20/oo at the time</font>

Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $5</font>, 3 folds, SB calls $4.50, BB folds

SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $8</font>, SB calls $8

Turn: ($27) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $20</font>, SB calls $20

River: ($67) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">SB bets $26.95 and is All-In</font>

This just seems like one of those spots where I can't fold, yet i'm never ahead when shoved into. The only thing that makes me want to call is because of his river pot sized lead in the previous hand where he hit TPTK on the turn, but making TPTK in that hand made sense, I don't know what to put him on that I beat, then again, I don't know what he has that i'm losing to either except a weird 2 pair.

Thoughts?

easy call, wtf

silly post, just call vs the donk, you will be ahead enough of the time to never think about having to fold this.

even stations get desperate when they miss their draws and find themselves pot stuck.

Sorry for the "silly post" how much would he have to have behind to make this not a "silly post" that he's pushing on the river, 2x as much, a full psb?

Whenever people with a total .5 AF shove the river I always worry.

Re: Call this river with TPTK?

Generally true but a 0.5 AF means they are a donk so you still beat a lot of donkish whiffed draws. If they did this on the flop or turn I'd be way more worried but once they get to the river I often see crap like this. To fold here it'd need to be much nearer potsize for me.

Na... its more like folding for $27 into a $94 pot.

3.5 : 1 ------- I call.

Wtf @ flop?

I see your point, this situation isn't that difficult I know. When they hit their backdoor flushes I tend to question myself.

I am still curious though how much he has to have behind/shove on the river to consider this a fold?
