The Demise of Free-FM...more importantly the return of K-Rock
New York area residents, rejoice, 92.3 KROCK has returned.
It appears as if they are the second station to dump the all talk weekday format from Free-FM, and I imagine a lot of other stations will as well. |
Re: The Demise of Free-FM...more importantly the return of K-Rock
My friend e-mailed me about this and I replied:
This is it...this could definitely be it. Full torso alternative radio station, made some kids dance around the library and scared the pants off of some poor librarian. |

The LA FreeFM station is still there. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah but what's so great about it? I work during the day so I can't listen to Frosty Heidi & Frank (I do kind of like Frank), Leykis is a boring, repetitive toolbox, John & Jeff are horrible... I'm never up early enough to hear Carolla... that leaves us with nothing good but Conway & Whitman. And I do like them. |

bah. I liked listening to 6 hours of ron and fez a day. But, its about time when Bloc Party/Wilco/The National/Arcade Fire sell out 5 nights each in seconds, that some programmer in New York realizes that a rock and roll station can work.
