How do you think he plays AK...like this?

Just raise the flop, you will get run over playing like this long run.

i cant see him firing a 2nd barrel w/ ak.

Re: c/c, c/f QQ overpair

Given your description of the villian I think this is fine. I don't really see him showing up here with anything other than AA/KK. Guys with 0.6 AF are probably not double barreling AK...

Hand 1: 45.130% 43.34% 01.79% 3204 132.00 { QQ }

Doesn't this mean we have to call down turn and reasonable river bet (depending on river card)? I see 37/8/0.6 donks minraise pf with 88, 99+ all the time.

To arrive at 99+, I gave villain 4% pfr and then took out all non-pair hands. I don't think villain would 2-barrel with 88 but if you include it, hero has 54% equity.

At the very least you have to call this turn.

Re: c/c, c/f QQ overpair

I think you can raise the flop and possibly fold to a shove, but it's real close. I have a real, real hard time folding this ever for 80bbs. As played, call turn? I'd get it in here at some point and hope for the best.

Also I hate preflop OOP. Just 4bet. Then you CAN fold to a 5bet.

guys, look closer at the PFR and the AF. and the minre? this is AA/KK so often it's sick. i don't see much wrong with this tbh

i like this line a lot, this guy just isnt doing this with AK or even 99-JJ IMO.

Why? You are ahead of his BS range here. Stats are important, but if someone sucks, they suck.

Reraise to like 24, then you can reevaluate. As ike pointed out, he's a terrible player. Don't give him credit he doesn't deserve.

Re: c/c, c/f QQ overpair

he's only got 80 bb's and is a bad player. I've seen this same reraise pf with literally any two cards from these types of villains. Either 4b pf or cr/call this flop.

This is a pretty nitty fold which I believe to be very -EV.

Re: c/c, c/f QQ overpair

this feels dirty without any sort of read. Too often its just absolutly nothing or TT/JJ hands as much as AA/KK so i cant find a fold.
I dont like 4 betting preflop (personal preference) but i do like playing for stacks postflop

Raise. Anywhere.

Re: c/c, c/f QQ overpair

Pretty tough spot, maybe check raise flop and fold to a raise. I agree though that OOP is horrid, I like a 4 bet pre to see where you stand and fold to a 5 bet.

Re: c/c, c/f QQ overpair

Yeah, w/ 80bb's just 4bet/call pf or push turn. If it's more than 100bb's I probably just call down.

Re: c/c, c/f QQ overpair

i don't think it's much of a mistake as played, if at all.

I would c-r flop and probably shove the turn if called and possibly lay it down if 3 bet.

Pretty sure he bets the turn with AKc, also you haven't exactly declared the strength of your hand as played.

If you call the turn i think theres a resonable chance he will check KK, AA behind.

I've been awake for 24 hours though so i could be talking complete trash

Re: c/c, c/f QQ overpair

lol ok ill come clean, the reason i folded was because i had a note saying he didnt 3bet JJ preflop in a previous hand. if i didnt have this note on him i woulda c/rai turn (and not really been happy about it).
i still think it would be pretty close w/o a read because he's a tard, and would almost certainly take this line w/ aa/kk, but that alone is not reason enough to fold the 3rd best (under-repped) overpair, especially especially for 80bbs.
