$16 Stars: A9 bubble, big stack bully, shorty all in, i have 1bb

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero (t640)
BB (t80)
UTG (t11210)
Button (t1570)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...es/diamond.gif, Ahttp://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...iles/heart.gif.
UTG raises to t2400</font>, 1 fold</font>, Hero calls t290 (All-In).

This was a tough spot for me however SNGwiz says it was a clear push. I think here where big stack is pushing close to ATC and shorty is all in w/ ATC, then A9 is crushing their range but it also puts me in a position where i could possibly place out of the money if shorty actually wins the hand. I ended up getting it in there but was very hesitant about it. What is my best option in this situation?

In terms of pure equity, CALL has to be the best option. Even if UTG draws out on you and KO's you, BB has to also beat UTG for you to place out of the money.

If your hand holds up you are at 1300+ chips, nearly even with Button and in good shape to move up another payout spot. By folding the original A-9, you are conceding that you can only really finish 3rd or 4th, not to mention that if BB wins the hand he would have around the same number of tourney chips as you.

This is a clear call. Shortie has to be both of you with ATC and you have a strong hand.

If you fold here the short stack has to win this hand (putting him at 320) and the next for you to be in trouble. The big stack is likely on ATC or very close, so you crush his range and are in good shape to double up, and the chances of you getting bubbled here are pretty small. Calling is definitley the best play.
