NUMBER OF PLAYERS AT POKER SITES
 

since the online ban, have the number of players dropped at ftp and stars? or has it increased?

i'm looking at ftp right now and i only see 3 10/20 games going. i know there is usually more but was there a time when there was always tons of games going before the online ban?

also, i see there is 53k players at stars right now and 30k at ftp. does anyone know the average amount of players now versus how many before the online ban.

It's 2am EST, therefore the # of games will definitely be lower than it will be in 12 hours. Check back then and at midnight or so for a more accurate #.

At this point, they have increased. The numbers dropped right after the ban, but have steadily grown since then. For stats on # of players on the sites:

looks to me like the highstakes action have decreased significantly over last few months on fulltilt at least. I was always a big watcher of the action over there. Don't really pay attention now, but when I do look in, I hardly see any highstakes games going.
