25NL switching from 6max

I normally play 6max but I like to mess around and try new things so I played a few tables of 25NL FR tonight to nit around.

Image at this table is TAG I guess, I've been running 17/12/3. My only real knowledge of fullring is that I need to tighten my range for valuebetting (yes I realize its more complex than this, but in essence the hands I will be facing will be stronger so standard VBs at 6max might be spewy at FR).

CO: $25
BTN: $54.85
SB: $5.40
BB: $4.25
UTG: $8.50
UTG+1: $20.05
UTG+2: $9
Hero (MP1): $60.10
MP2: $54.65

CO posts $0.25
Pre-Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP1)
UTG calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.25, MP2 folds, CO checks, 2 folds, BB checks

Flop: ($1.10) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 Players)
BB checks, UTG bets $1.25

Being from 6max I really wanted to raise here, but w/o a read on an UTG limper (especially one so short) I thought this might be spewy. On the flop, I have no idea what range to put UTG on, if I were closing action I might call one street, but this is such an ugly board and not closing I just folded...

As played good fold.
You really have to raise this hand here or fold all togethre preflop. No in between...
Raise to about 1.25 with the limper, then you can get an accurate read on him.

Re: 25NL switching from 6max

Welcome Mr. Bates, As a former 6 maxer I don't think that there is much difference postflop between the two games. The donks may be slightly nittier but not much and the regs are still predictable but in a much worse way at full ring.

As for the hand, if you were playing 6m would you really raise the flop here? I doubt it. I usually raise this preflop but I don't think limping is bad, I think folding is terrible.
