Really sick spot. I think preflop/flop are standard depending on your dynamic with imperium.
The turn isn't that great a card for him to two barrel since he isn't folding out that much.
He is definitely good enough to value shove a nine here.
How often do you think he gives up his two barrels?
If the answer is rarely I like going call call. Because his two barreling range is so wide.

I just dont feel qualified to post in this thread.

FWIW i like a raise to 450 PF trying to induce a resteal, especially if you have a loose image.

I also lead out regardless of the flop. That way if he calls you have much more information.

As played i probably fold.

but my opinion is basically useless at this level

Why no raise pf? Does this villain often come over the top of completions? If not I can't see how that would make this hand more profitable than a raise to 500.

This board is probably one of the worst you could see after a limp, but if it comes out dry you could get into trouble against a random hand hitting 2 pair or anything else.

Well he's either bluffing or he's got you. I don't see an ace playing the flop and turn like that. Based on how rarely anyone 3-barrel bluffs a sng, I'd fold. Although obviously I'd give a $2k guy a lot more credit. Enough to call? Only you and Gramps could say.

Re: 2k turbo, ?

Ok, let's see, on the flop villain can bet really any hand if checked to, also, there's no really scare card to come on the turn. So I think a check is the best move for hero. After hero calls, villain knows you don't have the T, and he thinks your range is widee. He prob thinks a 2-barrel will be profitable and he might be certain. Hero knows this and I think the right play is to check to induce a 2-barrel.
On the river, we know villain have something or is bluffing, either way a check is obvious the best play and I think a call is profitable givin his bluffing range being so wide.

Re: 2k turbo, ?

I can't see him ever having a 9 when he bets the river like that, so I guess I have to put him squarely on the nuts or air. Maybe this is why I suck but I think after you call a substantial turn bet and the river bricks, you have to call the river. You also get to Gigapwn the table by winning, so if it's anywhere close to even I'd call.

People don't like to reply to really difficult hands because it's easy to look like a jackass when you're wrong. I, having very little natural shame, am pretty much immune to that.
