Obivously my line is correct untill I overpush his minreraise. I cannot call his reraise right? His line is so strange that you'd either think hes just playing his lower pocket pair stupidly or he has a monster. Its hard to tell because he's a really bad player.. Am I ahead here often enough to make this +EV? (also considering my Tournament status, 2nd in chips & losing to a bad player sucks.). |
Re: $33 - KK facing strange action on paired board
i think it is more of a guessing game without actual experience with the villain, i might just call his bet and see what he does on the turn as i dont think this is any kinda of draw you should be scared of. then again an overcard might scare one of his pocket pairs off here.

Re: $33 - KK facing strange action on paired board
I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you contemplating doing something on the flop that allows you to get away from the hand? If so that can't be right, you should do whatever makes it most likely to end up allin agianst villain. Reraising allin on the flop is the standard method for achieving this. If you just call the flop reraise there might fall a card on turn that scares him into folding. I don't think I could ever get away from this, and especially not against the villain you describe.

Re: $33 - KK facing strange action on paired board
I would just call and call any bet on the turn. If he checks the turn I check it back and call/shove riv. With only four times the pot in your stack there's no getting away from this hand, I would just look to maximize value, beat/cooler if he has the four.

I get it in on the flop.
If we just call he might fold some random pocket (55-99 sth like that) on the turn if a scarecard hits. |
