100NL, AQ TPTK faces turn CRAI
Villian is 53/4/1.8. The only hand I've seen him play was where he called down with a straight draw and bluff-raised the river AI.

Re: 100NL, AQ TPTK faces turn CRAI
53 VPIP = call
Edit... what sample size on villain? 53/4/1.8? I mean if he's a monkey I'm calling, I think some sort of stupid combo draw is likely, I doubt he's floating with 88 or some crap there... what exactly are you guys putting him on? |
Re: 100NL, AQ TPTK faces turn CRAI
good never here. AF 1.8 isnt check raising the turn with any hand we beat.
scratch that, like almost nobody is CRAI the turn on this board with a hand we beat. |
Re: 100NL, AQ TPTK faces turn CRAI
Nah, really bad players do this check-raise even with QT/QJ, "because opponent raised so he must have AK". A call against this type of player is good, especially given your read.

Re: 100NL, AQ TPTK faces turn CRAI
I think this is a pretty standard call tbh. Especially if you have a read that he bluffs AI

I call this. 1.8AF is pretty aggro when youre a 53/4.

[/ QUOTE ] Calling 58 to win a total pot of 185. You need 31% equity against his range, which would include: 12 sets - 0% ~16 2 pair hands (maybe more) - 16% ~20 flush draws (maybe more) - 65% ~10 combo draws - ~50% ~8 worse queens - 94% 9 over pairs - 4-10% I think you have about ~35% equity here, making it a close call. If there was only 1 flush draw on board, it'd be a close fold IMO. |
Re: 100NL, AQ TPTK faces turn CRAI
I think the fact that you've seen him bluff raise allin before, makes this a pretty easy call....
I dunno though, I may be overextending these reads. |
