NL50 - JJ vs bluffy villain

Villain was running around 50/4/2. I won a couple of big pots vs him where I called him down - one hand he had A8s (which he limped from the CO) and instaPSB all streets on A high board, I hit my kicker on the river with A2. The second hand I had TPTK with AK and he floated flop with air and fired 2 barrels for around 2/3 of pot on a turn flush scarecard.

I felt he might be FOS here and my JJ is good but I knew he will fire again on the turn and possibly on the river and being OOP I didn't want to call his raise and c/c two big bets.

I also have seen him limp Ax previously from LP and thought he might be trying to use his bluffy image to score big with trips here - or which is more probable judging by his stats - he does not think about my hand and just fires away with Ax here.

If you think hes bluffing just call him down.

Re: NL50 - JJ vs bluffy villain

if I call flop the pot will be 25$ - two reasonably sized bets from him (which he will most likely fire with or without an A judging by his previous play) will result in us being all-in

he might have an A although a bluff is more likely IMO, but he can still beat me if he has a Q or a K in his hand and I just call his bets

I know calling down is the way to go here, I'm just not sure if it is the right thing to do if it's likely to result in an all-in. In most of the threads with WA/WB situations the advice was to call reasonably sized bets when in position.

Its pretty simple. If you think hes bluffing you just call because if you raise he folds those bluffs and shoves back when youre beat. So let him keep bluffing and call down. Against a normal player I would give up on the turn however. And yes, he could beat you with a K or Q but your hand isnt a big one, theres really no need for "protection." Youre either WA/WB at this point so just take it from there.

Yes I know the theory. I just really don't know how I should evaluate the calling down from EV perspective because I can not estimate (not even roughly) how often he has the A, or what my equity against his range is (because his range is quite wide).

If he is paying any attention to the two previous hand he probably has you pegged as a calling station, so if you think he has a clue fold.
If you have him as a complete spewmonkey call him down
