$16 TPTK against donk bets

No reads. Heres another spot that felt pretty akward. I dont really know if hes on a worse ace or a 7 or a flush draw. Am I supposed to flat call the raise pf? In retrospect the flop and turn look like blocking bets, but at the time they were hard to interpret.

I three bet it here, makes flop easier to play (zomg get it in if we hit TPTK), plus often lets us pick it up UI when checked to.

As played, yeah, I think 240 on the flop is good. I semi hate the turn raise. I mean...the guy is awful, but still...looks very thin if you want to squeeze value out of a weaker ace.

River is hard, I never get there this way.

I 3bet to 180 pf.
Play the flop and turn the same.
I call the river, you should be ahead here an awfull lot and you're getting 3:1. Also, what hands does he play like that, that beat you ?

I think flatting pre is ok after a raise in position.
I think raising is fine also, with two players left to act.
On the turn I raise to to 550ish. You 3bet him, but because the pot is so big compared to his bet, you give him good odds.
On the river I call pretty easy. He probably would not raise a 7 preflop from MP and I do not give him credit for a backdoor flush. Even if he has a backdoor flush, it still makes little sense for him to push.
You still beat a lot of aces, tens, 9s, other pairs and bluffs.

hes not the pf raiser, he was in the BB. I think that his hand looks a LOT like a flush draw that was making defensive bets to try and draw cheap.

Everybody thinks this is a call? Does the fact that its still early and we can make a comeback effect peoples' decision at all?

I can see a river fold here. All draws get there and many villtards play trips like this.

Re: $16 TPTK against donk bets

You're right, misread him as being the raiser. His bets really look like the FD, I don't think a 7 is likely. I push the turn.

I would push the turn too, as played it looks like his FD got there and I fold.
