I had no goals for the month. It was my first time back grinding since late summer/early fall after I'd left the BR in tatters. So I did a lot of grinding at NL25 and NL50 with solid results, although you can plainly see on the NL25 graph when I tried 12 tabling (11k hand mark)--basically my win rate went down to nearly zero (although that could be variance).

Even with the 12-tabling stint, was able to manage 4.5ptbb/100 over 27k hands. This was my purgatory for chasing losses in late summer and destroying the BR.

Made the leap back to NL50 without any real problems.

Solid win rate of 5.57ptbb/100 over 10k hands, which is certainly in part to me not trying to 12-table. Managed to build the BR up to a point where I can once again play NL100 and just started there tonight with success.

Overall a good month, managed to take $100 and turn it into $2k.

Goals for December:
Play 50k hands
Build BR to take on NL200
Play entire month at NL100 or up with win rate of 3ptbb+/100
Further examine NL HU games

Goals for December:

Play enough hands to earn 50k VPP and quit.

I cannot wait to end this year, so that I can just chill at the gym and hang out with my friends and girl. Being home without any obligation to play cards is going to be great.

New job and a double swong this month meant that I only managed 2.5ptbb over 10k hands, ruling out any chance of levelling up to NL100 this year.

But on the plus side, I'm a bit happier with my game and Tower are still dishing out the fat bonuses.

December goals: solid 4+ptbb over 20k hands or more, clear 500+ in bonuses, ready for level up in the new year. Keep taking little shots at NL100. Use my magic powers to avoid set over sets (fkn 4 oversets in 2k hands!!!!!!)

Can't remember my exact goals and too lazy to browse for the thread.. Real life sucked this month, but poker was somewhat good [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Cleared about $140 in bonus + 1 year Stox Poker subscription + 5 2+2 books.

Kind of sucks that I forced myself to grind a bonus last weekend, even though I felt a bit too tired to play (at that first spike). If I hadn't I'd show 20+BB/100 in profit but now I'm somewhere between 5 and 10. Still nice though.

Failed all cept get a dealing job.

Oct Goals:
-Aprox 15-20k hands
-Earn Bronze or Silver Iron Man Thus earning a 100 or 125 Bonus in Jan
-Post More/Reply More
-Spend at least the amount of time studying that I do playing poker.
-Take more notes.

It would be a waste of time for me to even post my results since I played like 500 hands this month.

I didn't have Nov goals, but this was the first month since basically last year that I played only NL100. I need to play more and not play drunk. I also got frustrated with myself around 20k mark and played less tables and worked on my game rather than trying to put in more hands. Seems to have worked.

December goals:
-50k hands should be achievable with new monitor
-Beat NL100 at a better clip
-Start bonus whoring more

My only goal for November was to hit gold star, then after I hit it and had a bad session I quit cash games for the month and just played tourneys. In December I want to play 30k hands 6-tabling at 100nl, reach platinum star, make at least $2.5k and move up to 200nl at the beginning of January.

Total month was like -$650 after a HUUUUUUGGGGGEEEEEE downswing at 100NL that continued for a little bit at 50NL. No one wants to see my ski slope graph followed by a slow incline.


December goals:

- Platinum Star
- Buy a 50,000 FPP $650 bonus and get XBox 360 / PS3

Goals for this month were:

Play 60k hands (nope...played just under 40k but spent a good amount of time retooling my game, opening up, and just trying to improve.

Try to attain and maintain 3ptbb/100 over this stretch
(For the month, I can't say I met this goal. However, after making the change, I've been running pretty well, so this is a mixed yes/no.

I finally ended my breakeven stretch, which pleased me no end. Only got to play about 30k hands, since my course puts a hell of a lot on pressure on my time. i did well to start with, but kind of leveled off near the end when i was just on autopilot.

up $1000 (with rakeback)
didn't post as much as i wanted to

Goals for December:
1) Maintain Iron man
2) Take a break over xmas (not just from poker, but from work too)
3) Post more! at least 25 posts this month
4) Profit in some way or other
5) 25k hands at least, not sure how much time i will have

I've posted this on my blog as well as in the Illuminati thread...

Shortstackers aren't some unbeatable force! Most of the shorties that I have seen at 100NL 6-max aren't really that good (either play way too loose or way too tight). Some full-stacked opponents adjust to me very easily, others do not. It's just a different form of poker, people who whine about shortstackers are just too lazy to adapt. There are countless posts on here about how to bear short-stackers, it really isn't some all-powerful strategy that guarantees winning.

Personally, I'm using it to grind up my bankroll so I can jump back into full-stacking, but right now I am at a good comfort level short-stacking.

-This was a huge month for me as a poker player. Last month sucked I finished at about 2.5pt/100. My goal was just to be at 3pt for the month and I finished at 4! I feel as though I really improved as a poker player.
-Finally got my new monitor and finally am a 12 tabler!! (now that everyone else is playing 18)
-still a lazy ass though and couldn't come close to cracking my 100k hand goal, at about 70k

goals for next month:
-maintain at least 3.6pt/100, hopefully even more than this month though
-crack 100k for the first time
-Finally hit SUPERNOVA! around 17k points to go
-get more comfortable playing $hitloads of tables
-continue reviewing hands/fixing leaks
-be a good contributor to 2+2
-get better at stealing
