NL50 - JJ overpair to flop

I have nothing on villain and somehow auto-pilot the re-raise preflop. I bet reasonably big on flop and get flat-called.

Stacks and pot pretty much make me have to felt this on the basically brick turn, right?

Such a gross spot, you beat nothing that he's calling with.
Villain has $20 behind on the turn, which changes things a bit.

I was considering checking the turn in hopes of inducing a shove from any overcards that floated us, but villain probably knows that you're not folding much for the $20, so I would just shove myself and not give any overcards a free look at the river.

Even retards won't have whiffed overcards in their range after the flop call.

Quite a nasty spot, I'm not sure what to do here. I would probably shove there and hope he calls with some crap I beat, but c/f the turn seems quite reasonable too. Meh.

bad spot. only reasonable hands he could have that you beat are 77-99, if he puts you on AK (obv lol). probably checking the turn and calling the push here, even though thats probably wrong.

OK - I guess the consensus is we are not folding for his last 20ish...so the Q is is betting or calling the best choice?

IF we by some cosmic fluke are ahead here we don't want him to fold the turn..on the other hand it would suck to let him catch an A/K/Q on the river for free...

I like to bet so I put him in on turn expecting either to be beat or a fold but lo and behold he called with 88 and Lee was asleep at the helm with the 2 outs so MHWG.

[censored] spot first hand at the table with unknowns...although felting an overpair like a total donk is perhaps good for you image?
