Early in 50/50, 77 OOP

Villain is 25/13 over 25 hands. 3 hands earlier I cont bet on him for approximately the same proportion of the pot and he folded.

Is it worth getting more deeply involved with this hand? I put him on 66-TT or a few broadway hands. Is it possible he's doing this with a draw or overcards, maybe? I'm not quite sure. I hate this spot. Call, fold or raise?

What's running through my mind is that it's very early in the tourney and there will be better spots but am I passing up a +EV play?

I don't like b/f'ing this flop b/c you have decent equity against his range and you're getting 2.75 to 1 to call his raise. I don't think your implied odds are that good here, but they might be if villain's the type to overplay TP, or an overpair. If u intended to b/f, then checking the flop is def a better line. If u had him on the range u stated, i think c/c the flop is the right play.

You're about 2 to 1 against an overpair and 3 to 1 against a set, and you're flipping with a hand like JT;T9hh. If he's aggro postflop, he could be raising a combo draw. Either way, i don't think that this hand is going to cost you much more than calling the flop raise, since he will slow down on a lot of turns and rivers. You'll only be putting more money in if you're ahead on the turn and river.

Snap call, reevaluate on the turn. Let us know the turn.

If you wouldn't mind, his bet size on the turn would be nice. =)

Sure thing. He bet 700. Seemed like he know how to build a pot and Ijust couldn't justify continuing at this stage of the game. I just wasn't sure where I was and I might be drawing dead. Hate this flop spot and really was thinking I should have laid down. I guess it's pretty cut and dry here...hit on turn or give up, right?

I think you made the right play by calling the flop. On the turn, I don't think you're drawing dead, but it doesn't look good. An overcard just fell and he's still betting about 3/4 of the pot. Any reads on postflop aggression? It does look like he's protecting, rather than bluffing. If he was drawing, your call of his raise is likely to induce a check for a free card. Unless you went into the tank and essentially told him you're weak; which is why I said "snap call". C/f turn looks right.
