This is the first or second orbit, I haven't played a hand yet.
Stacks are around the starting 4000.

Folded to me in CO with J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and I raise to 150.
Folded to BB who calls.
BB is a bridge-playing caveman looking guy who I think I should recognze but don't. He has won some Bellagio tourneys I find out later.

Flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Turn: T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

BB bets 600
Hero makes it 1200
BB calls.

River T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

BB fires out 1200, leaving about 1400-1500 left

I'd shove the river as I think he just has trips here the majority of the time. I would probably bet the flop, and in general i despise minraises.

I try to have an open mind about minraises but I can't see the point of it here.

yeah, minraises generally suck.

stacks are already awkward in this hand, as anything bigger leaves less than a PSB.

So for those advocating a push, villain has AT or KT or something like that?
The times that villain has flopped a set are just gg, me??

Yeah, c-betting the flop is standard. Try to take it down there etc.

he could even have a lower straight, and lots of Ts are in his range

Bet the flop for sure, and probably 3 bet if raised
Raise more on the turn
Probably shove river
