JJ faces aggression on co-ordinated flop.

Full stacked, 5 handed villain is tagnit 15/9/2.3/150.

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
2 folds, Button calls, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $10</font>, BB calls, Button folds.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($22, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $18</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises to $72</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises all-in $159</font>

Due to his large flop raise size I pegged him for a draw so went with it and shoved.

If he raises to 50 or 60 is this an easy fold?

Urgh, hate this spot.

sounds like a setminer. Id fold here versus such a nit.

I might sound crazy but am I the only one checking sometimes those flops and calling down 2 barrels? Because obv his range is = PP. if we bet flop its either vs a set or fold (wa-wb).

really depends on Table image iMO and history so fold or rrai are both fine but expect alot of varience and you will lose 1/2 of the time when he nails his combo draw

I don't think you can infer that his large flop raise means a draw rather than a set: after all, if he's playing soundly, he'll do the same with both. More importantly, he knows that the board looks dangerous to you and many turn cards will kill the action for him.

Such an easy fold. You beat nothing and are flipping or worse against the rest.

not really true that he beats nothing, I've seen 88/99 or worse get jiggy on these kinds of flops against button raisers.

I agree,..I wasn't saying that he has only a draw here but rather that when he does, he's got a lot of equity in the pot, will call and hit quite often. Not to mention, villain does flip up QQ or a set quite often here. Without a real history, I'm not getting crazy here oop unless villain keeps it up; rather I chalk it up to a tough one and I am oop and give him credit for this one and make note,...there will be better spots if he is overplaying here. Sounds rather Nitty, i know, but we are def Slightly ahead or/ WB alot here

How does the rank of your pp change things here? Is this a clear allin with KK?

Re: JJ faces aggression on co-ordinated flop.

KK is a much tougher spot here IMO because of the pp rank, yes. I probably rr in here alot more, esp w/ Kc but calling is fine too,...no fold on the flop w/ KK on this raise,..agree?
