How about linking to the page, so we can see what we are downloading, and who from? I don't want to download some miscellaneous ZIP file, with no clue if it is reputable. Trojan anyone?

Re: Equilator(similar to pokerstove)

What are the new features or the difference between it and PokerStove?

Right - Now I can see that is, in fact, legit - and that I don't really have a need for it.

These calculations are NOT trivial.

The world is full...
Of much, much simpler things that are calculated erroneously.

For example...
A simple Sharpe Ratio is often done incorrectly.

The thing about PokerStove...
Is that after all these years... one can assume it's correct.

A new similar program?
Too much can go wrong.

But good luck over the long haul.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but your assumption is incorrect. Juk and I found a bug in pokerstove 2ish months ago, it was giving incorrect results. The irony is that the bug was introduced when Andrew tried to compete with the speed of PokerBolide (a newer, similiar but faster program)
