Anette, I would like to direct you to this forum thread in ATF (About The Forums) where the current consensus is that NVG is the most retarded forum on 2+2 (personally, I concur.) Take that into consideration when you reflect upon some of the opinions presented in this thread. After all, slings and arrows may hurt, but when hurled by utter retards you can be reasonably sure that most of them are off target...

FWIW i did not think that this was indeed annette until i saw her post in MTT as well. Sadly people creating gimmick accounts lack such creativity and dedication.

Its funny that so many people come to Annette's defense because of the immaturity of the people who make fun of her. Her posts in NVG seem at least equally immature and less funny.

If these posts are representative of her i hope she posts more in MTT than NVG

I just read your interview in Card Player and you do come off as a little arrogant, especially when talking about "live pros". On this fact alone I think you would be much happier here than at P5's! You've had great success already, who cares what microstakes players think? Even though we are talking donkaments here, I think with your results you must be an excellent player. I think the few haters are standiing out more than they should.

I think it's a tournament/ cash game thing. Many posts on here deride the success of tournament specialists (esp. "TV pros"), due to the different style, and luck involved, whereas cash game players seemingly can do no wrong. you can't take it to heart or too seriously though. maybe get advice from other pros in the spotlight on how they handle criticism, Ted Forrest for instance..ok jk

Poker players are horrible people. That's why I play it. To take their money. The haters remove any pangs of guilt I may have had when knocking people out. I just pretend like the person is a 2+2er when I bust them. Haters ROCK!!

Its one of those things thats just kind of strange, so people make fun of it, kind of like everyone posts pictures of Lebron James, not because they hate him, but because he's so good at basketball that its just a unique thing. The 2p2 demographic is mostly young males. As I'm sure you are aware, the anonymity of the internet brings out the worst in people. Couple that with jealousy of your success, and yes, people say awful things.

It really is a shame, because I'd wager a large percentage of the poker playing public is happy for your success. From what I know, (and granted I haven't followed your story closely), you've put the time into your game and worked hard for your accomplishments.

It also stand to reason that the success of a young female is great for the game.

From what I know of you, I'm a fan and wish you the best of luck. It's quite likely the majority feel the same and just haven't posted to that effect, (with the haters being the more vocal crowd.)

Obviously we'd welcome your participation at 2p2.

It can be a little wild wild west, but there are places the community shines.

All you have to do is ask her if it's her next time she logs on to UB, since poor people are allowed to chat at any table there, unlike PS, FT, etc. , where you need to have the $20 buyin fee to chat. I doubt any of you have more than $20 at any site, so this would be ideal.
