AQs, butchered? 25nl stars

Villain just sat down recently, not a solid read, but he seemed like a lagtard in the couple hands I have seen. I just called turn, because I figured he was drawing dead and might bluff on the river, or improve and pay me off huge.

I might have reraised him on the turn. He's been betting strongly so he would almost certainly call. As played, I agree with the river shove. He has played strong throughout, he's nearly always calling any raise here.

Pop it to $8 or $9 on the turn. I think that makes it easier to get all his chips in by the end of the hand.

I might have raised the turn, but you had position so this looks fine

To be honest, I think either raising the the turn or calling intending to raise the river is fine, eta: since you're in position. Curious as the board pairs and he REALLY likes his hand.

One thing to keep in mind, though, is that once your GIN card hits the turn, you then have to look at stacks and try and figure out the best way to go about getting his whole stack in. Either by raising the turn to $9 or so, or planning on raising BIG on the river.

But always be looking at stack sizes to try and figure out your bet sizes, so that on big hands, you know how to best get villains stack in the middle.

Hope that helps and sorry he boated up on ya

if he is drawing you can raise him and get value right there, not from a possible bluff on the river
