200nl - KK facing 3Bet Cold Caller

Villain was 28/13/1.5 over 380 hands. Fold BB to steal 87%. No history or reads.

The cold call came as a surprise.

I'd check behind the flop. Although I'd also check behind with a weak ace.

I'd probably fold river. All you beat is a weak hand like TT turning itself into a bluff.

fold. this nit has AK or AA so much of the time imo.

looks like villain is taking hero to value town on river.
with those stats im folding river, ur praying he has QQ/JJ/(TT?) and i think thats less of his range vs AA/AK, even every mid PP hit (if he's that bad). Just let it go.

Why do you call him a nit? Surely semi-loose and passive but not a nit.

folds to BB steal is 87%, so he's only playing his raising range out of the blinds, his calling range is polarised even further given its a 3bet pot. Imo he's only calling a very small range here, but potentially still playing the pot passive.

SpecialEDD,

"okay, semi-loose-passive nit"

This doesn't make much sense. Leave the word nit out.

Primate,

Well played (if you folded).

QFT

Villains agg factor is just too low for us to try and pick off a river bluff.
