I'm in; got the book this past Saturday from Amazon and just getting through the Fundamentals section (reading it along with Moshman's SNG 2+2 book).

Just finished my first pass through the book (and it became very clear that more than one pass will be needed). This sounds like a great way to go back and study it in depth.

Do we need to do anything special to sign up, or just read the assigned chapters and post questions/comments?

I have the book and am near the end, there are lots of parts that I have issues with. Maybe I am thinking incorrectly, I am looking forward to this group.

Mine will be shipped on the 20th so I guess I'll just star commenting once it arrives.
I reccomend one thread per chapter for the sake of easier reference later etc.
I'll try the method recommended SQRRR here:

i'm in too. this sounds like a really good way to get a good discussion going.

maybe it would benefit us to have this in some sort of a more live setting? like on mIRC or something? just seems like that way we could get more said faster and it'd be a little easier to follow. also, just knowing that there are people out there that will want to just talk about the book and seeing who they are will be nice.

I just called a local Waldenbooks/Borders and they have it in stock! Driving there right after I get off work. 30% OFF coupon FTW!
